We welcome original student work on virtually any topic, provided it follows our publication requirements. Submissions may take the form of articles or research papers.
To submit a publication, certain requirements (word count, citations, etc.) must be met. Articles and research papers have differing requirements, so please view individual criteria below.
Article Requirements
Word Count
Due to the wide variety of articles submitted, there is no official word count required. However, a recommended length is 400-1500 words.
Citations
All articles submitted must follow APA (7th edition) citation guidelines. However, articles do not require formal academic sources unless factual claims, data or external research are referenced.
Originality
AI may be used for grammar or brainstorming; however, AI cannot be listed as an author, and all work must be original. Significant AI assistance must be disclosed.
Figures and Media
Figures and Media are optional. However, if used, they must include captions and source credit (if not original). All images must be copyright-safe or original.
Tone and Audience
All articles must be written for a general, educated audience. Writing must be clear and concise.
